We need to be in Miami at least a decent time for sleep on this night.

What time would you propose that be?

We have team members in Clearwater, Lakeland, Bradenton and Venice (as of 11/11/11)

We need to discuss options, concerns, ideas, conflicts here for the logistics of this night.

Gregg and I are for the most part planning to take the entire day off, he may want to meet his crew at the office at 7:30 AM to get them going for the day but we can be as flexible as needed with departure time and are all for departing as early as we can!

I know myself and several others can't get that day off. I will however be "working" from home....so I can multi-task during the day and be ready to go at least by 5....but we need to the others to weigh in too

A guy that may join our team ran RAGNAR keys last year....said that he ran in van 2, and because it started so "late" that Van 2 drove down that morning straight to first major exchange.

Anyone want to do the math to figure when van 1 exchanges with van 2??...Chris is managing Van 2, so its up to him, but I know if it were me, I'd be stressing about unforeseen traffic or some debacle that would cause a delay to getting to exchange.

I'm not really comfortable with that scenario and since this is a TEAM event, the results of anything that either van does will impact the whole team....BUT if I'm out numbered, I'm out numbered....you know I will always give MY opinion.

I am planning on taking Thursday the 5th off...worst case scenario be out of the office by noon. I do thinking getting down there sometime on Thursday evening is a good idea. I agree with Kelly, too much is involved in this to be slammed with a traffic jam!

Chris reserved Van2 out of Ft Myers....with a pickup that Thursday afternoon

Yea, I figured I'm a little late to the forum...but, you've got a TON of info on here! Love the pace spreadsheet!

Im off at 1pm on thursday and have arranged transportation to pick up the van in Ft Meyers that afternooon. let me know what time van 1 will be leaving Clearwater so I can follow you down. If anyone flying wants to consider flying into Ft Meyers call me and we can see if the logistics work within time frames.

Now that we are through the holidays and in the home stretch, Gregg needs to know ASAP what the plans will be now for Thursday so he can coordinate his schedule with his technicians and our office assistant. Since it seemed some in Van 1 were not able to take Thursday off it would seem he may be able to plan some work for Thursday.....We ARE still all for leaving as soon as possible however but we do need to know what the plans are so I have time to get the van on Thursday AM and also drop my dog off with my mom etc...

I propose that Van 1 "people" be in Parrish starting at 4:30. I have to work (from home) until 5 however I can multi-task since I use a wireless headset for my landline. Therefore, if we are all waiting on me, then i say get the van packed, loaded and what little decorations we have planned can be done during that 1/2+ hour....then at the 5'oclock bell, i simply jump in a packed up and ready van and head off.

OK....so 4:30 it is then.
